Auditions

NOVA is a project-based women’s choral ensemble that uses innovative choral experiences to raise awareness of issues that impact both women and our communities.

Auditions for participation in NOVA take place on a rolling basis throughout the season. To schedule a vocalization appointment for future engagements with NOVA, please fill out our Vocalization Request Form and we will be in touch! Space is limited and all participants must show proof of vaccination. Each appointment takes approximately 10-12 minutes to include vocalization to determine range, tonal memory, and sight-singing.

Additionally, interested singers are asked to prepare a song of their choice to demonstrate vocal quality, technique and musicality. This song need not be a formal aria or art song - a simple hymn or folk song will suffice.
